FYI to clarify an assumption that suicide sends someone to hell - TopicsExpress

FYI to clarify an assumption that suicide sends someone to hell automatically is NOT true. Rejection of the Lord Jesus Christ does. Not repenting of your sins and asking Jesus into your heart is what sends a soul to hell. A saved born-again believer that commits suicide does not lose ones salvation and go to hell. That is a false teaching and is not even Biblical. In fact Samson committed suicide. Judges 16:28-30 And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes. (29) And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left. (30) And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life. There is far more to talk about in this great message and life of Samson that we have room to talk about. This may help some of you folks out there that have been struggling with this thought and put you at ease. If your loved one took their life and they repented of their sins at some point and asked Jesus into their hearts then they are in Heaven. If anyone tries to debate me in this I will ban you as this is not a place to do so. You can always shoot me a private message or email if you want to discuss this area further. Suicide however is being disobedient to the Lord and is unfair to those that are left behind so if you are struggling in this area seek Christ for deliverance first and then seek professional help for what you are dealing with. I pray that this gives some of you peace. Love to all! In Christ, Michael Pratt Soldier4Christ Ministries 816-226-8102 text too [email protected]
