Faaaarkn hell!!! What a heavy couple of weeks its been. Two Grandparents gone in a week. Was a healing, sad, joyous and emotional occasion. Got to meet and re-connect with my whānau on both sides, after years of separation. It saddens me that it takes a tragedy for whānau to realise what whānau is and who whānau are but at the end of the day we were there for each other and it was mean. Its good to be back home and to re-root myself in the soils of my homeland. To both my Grandparents, I love you dearly. You were and are huge parts of my life. Amazing human beings who always put others before themselves. Rest in peace Nanny Serena and Papa Des, love you heaps!! Xxooxoxoxo
