Fact # 3; Between the months of August & September, she (Lae MP) distributed a total K30 000 each to 23 ward councillors (30 × 23) in the name of ward beautification & independence day sports. Again, that was without the knowledge of Lord Mayor & Ahi President. The two offices suppose to coordinate the funds respectively as they are head of their respective LLG. Instead, it was a direct funding from office of Lae MP to the Ward Councillors - a clear abuse of process & power. The worse thing is that, all those funds were misused by the councillors. There was nothing to show of. The underlying motive of her is to gain political support from the 23 ward councillors on the proposed city commission since the president & mayor opposes it.
