Facts... My wife is suffering from severe back pain since 2 years. We consults with so called best Doctors of Guwahati , of Orthopedics and Gestroendrolgy Dept. We admitted her in good hospital and done all the test related to gestroendrology eg. endroscopy etc, and test related to back pain eg. MRI , City Scan , various blood test etc .But all the test are normal except a minor gastric ulcer and a slip disk as we have find it before. She was treated only for d ulcer but d back pain was not resolved. Again we take d advice from another orthopedics and according to his advise she has taken d course of long term physiotherapy . But its all are temporary relief....she is still suffering ... Dr suggest us to go for surgery.. In a article I have read that as per a American medical journal the recovery statics of surgery and non surgery patients of slip disk are same.. she also search in the internet about the disease and found d symptoms shows that it should be ankylosing spondelyties and for this a blood test will be required;So I have taken the decision on taking d advice from a Super Specialty Hospital in India and take appointment of Dr Ankur Nanda of Indian Spinal Injuries Centre , Delhi. ... After going to her back pain history. He has given just two x- rays and Four blood tests and and find 3 out of 4 test are positive . These r d symptoms of ankolysing spondelytis which is a genetic problem and can be cureable or under control with medicine and phycical exercise and need not to go for any surgery ;Dr Nanda refer us Dr Sri Ram Garg of rheumatology dept. after various consultation he has given us medicine and advise to do regular exercises. The value of the medicine are just Rs 4000 for 3 month course. ... But we have to come to Delhi two or three times for check up for alternating d medicines.. We have found d God here but why not in Assam?????? I m great sufferer and victim of the Doctors of Assam. My mother was died due to mistakes in d diagnosis by various Dr s in Assam; Which was diagnosed in CMC Vellore at 3A stage but no Dr s of Assam referred us to go out of Assam. We went by our self reference. If it was diagnosed in Assam in 1st or 2nd stage she may be with us for another 5 to 10 year.. shame on the so called Dr s of Assam;actually they r ruining the patients of Assam .
