Faculty of Engineering - REGULAR STUDENTS REGULATIONS (RSR): ITEM 3: General Systems Engineering Students can declare a scientific major (Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering), provided that certain rules are satisfied: Item 1 : Students should have a cumulative GPA 2, as a minimum. Item 2 : Students should fulfill 30 – 36 credits, i.e. (10 – 12 courses) at the first level If 11 or 10 courses are passed only, priority is given to register the remaining one or two courses in the subsequent semester (before registering major courses). Item 3 : Students should fill out the “Scientific Major Declaration Form”. Item 4 : Students, who are on probation, i.e. their cumulative GPA is less than 2, are allowed to register the following general courses only: • English Language Courses. • Engineering Mathematics Courses. • Computer Programming Courses. • Social Science Course.
