Failed Display: Obama Uses Scare Tactics on the American People b4in.org/pP1 Here we are people, it’s October 1st, and the government is shutdown. Tuesday, President Barrack Obama released a video statement saying, “Those of you in uniform will remain on your normal duty status. Threats to our national security have not changed and we need you to be ready for any contingency Ongoing military operations, like our efforts in Afghanistan will continue. If you are serving in harms-way we will make sure you have what you need to succeed in your missions”. Obama then went on to address all Department of Defense employees, even addressing their recent furloughs and families, pointing out that the future for DoD employees may be looking grim. Although some Americans such as Carol Ann, whom I interviewed via telephone Tuesday, believe that the current government shutdown is merely a staged spectacle that will ultimately gain the Obama Administration the approval and provisions funding it seeks for Obamacare by conditioning the general public through propaganda.
