Faith – Hebrews 11:1 Written by Angus Buchan on March 18, 2014. Posted in From Angus Desk Faith… without it we will not make it and we definitely will not please God! In fact the Word of God tells us this very clearly – Hebrews 11:6. If God is to work in Our lives He requires one thing only from You and me, and that is to believe. In the Hebrew language the word ‘listen’ is the same as ‘obey’. When we do not listen to God, He cannot perform a miracle on our lives. In order to obey what Jesus tells us to do we need to believe, and when we listen to what God tells us to do, then we receive our miracle. Example: The leper Naaman (2 Kings 5:), when He obeyed (listened), the Prophet of God, Elisha, and went down to the river Jordan and washed Himself seven times… God healed him instantly from leprosy. Let us stop questioning the Word of the Lord and start listening (obeying) to what Jesus says, and then we too, will receive our miracle. God Bless, Angus.
