Fake Tweet of “Spanish Air Control Officer” In an immediate - TopicsExpress

Fake Tweet of “Spanish Air Control Officer” In an immediate follow-up to #MH17 tragedy, Russian mass media started citing someone named Carlos, supposedly a Spanish air traffic control officer working in Kyiv “Boryspil” Airport. In his Twitter account, he claimed to have noticed two Ukrainian fighter jets next to the Malaysia Airlines Boeing-777 before its disappearance from radars. Later, this post was deleted altogether with author’s Twitter account https://twitter/spainbuca although Russian media published this information widely accusing Ukrainian military forces of downing # MH17. However, according to the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise, there are no Spanish air traffic control officers in Ukrainian airports. Moreover, all of them are Ukrainian citizens as foreseen by Ukrainian legislation. According to paragraph 2.3 (“Citizenship”) of the Guidelines on the organization and selection of candidates for initial training of air traffic controllers in Ukraine, only citizens of Ukraine are allowed to take the preparation course. The Regulations on air traffic control licensing, approved by the Ministry of Transport of Ukraine, also refer to the Ukrainian citizenship (paragraph 4.26) as a necessary condition for obtaining a certificate of air traffic controller on the territory of Ukraine. In plain words, the tweet of so-called “Spanish air traffic controller” in Twitter is a clear fake used for concealing the true causes of #MH17downing by Russia-backed terrorists.
