Falling in love is scary, for me at least and I’m just being honest. When I fall, I take large leaps as I descend even deeper with each day that passes. I don’t just fall once, I continue that fall for that individual. Love at first sight was something that made no sense until I saw you. I ignored it, foolish of me to think I could fall for a stranger, yet somehow I did. Weeks would pass before I wrote you, from that a friendship started to form and I just couldn’t stand the idea of you being with someone other than me. Fast forward, we’re together and though the title is new, I’ve been wanting you for the longest time. It’s hard for a lot of men to surrender to love and being vulnerable in terms of their emotions but I’m man enough to let it be known that I love you and though the uncertainty of the future still plagues my mind, I’m still planning it as if you’ll be apart of it. All I can ask is that you be patient with me, I have my flaws but I’m worth it. Remain loyal to me, I’ll do the same. Be honest, I’ll keep it real and be loving as I’ll love you through it all. I’ll make an effort to make you smile even in the moments where I’m hurting inside. I’ll be your strength if you should ever feel weak. I’m proud of you, I’m happy with you... I’m in love with you.
