Family & Friends - from the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers for Allen Duff and I during Allens illness and I apologize for the delay in updating you all. We had a very emotional week to say the least! We started at one hospital with one diagnosis and were then transferred to another hospital where we received another diagnosis! Ill take the second diagnosis any day - first we were told he had pneumonia and following a failed surgical procedure to drain the fluid we were told he had lung cancer! BUT we serve a mighty God who heals and intervenes!!! Praise God hospital number 2 said cancer? No, the lung is HEALTHY - there is NO cancer!!! It did collapse due to a build up of the pneumonia fluid and bacteria but thank you to their fast actions, he had surgery yesterday to have the lung scraped clean of all the junk and a drainage tube placed to continue draining the fluid (and its working!!). He will remain in the hospital for another 5 or 6 days but we are so thankful for prayers, healing and intervention! God Bless you all!
