Family & Friends everywhere: Please donate something if you can. Of course one reason this means a lot to me is that I was Melissas voice teacher from age 10 to 18, when she won a merit scholarship to Carnegie Mellon. I am insanely proud of her. But there are lots of other great reasons to support this--it really is wonderful to see opera enacted this way. And all such well-thought-out and worthy artistic causes should be supported! And (totally objective!) she is a FABULOUS singer/actress and everything that can be done to further her career is an acknowledgement of her outstanding artistry and the value of art itself!
