Family Prayer along with Mother Virginia Turner on the phone from Washington, D. C. Deacon Milton began our family prayer service off by singing hymn # 383 (The Path to Heaven lies through a Maze). Deacon James was called to pray and God blessed him to say a prayer sent from only thee. Elder Brown read scripture lesson from: John 14:1-7 KJV Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Fathers house are many mansions: if it were not so , I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. [3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. [4] And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. [5] Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? [6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. [7] If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. He went on to tell us not to worry about our trials and tribulations because God is with us through it all. Elder Brown says that God moves and works in mysterious ways and he is so glad that God has us coming together for prayer in the name of Jesus. He tells us that we are in the mist of God and when we arent together, continue to pray for one another. Thank God for keeping his loving arms of healing around our mother/wife (Margie) and our niece/granddaughter (Courtney). Sister Amanda song How I Love Jesus. Deacon Milton spoke and read from: Mark 5:1-15 KJV And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes. [2] And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, [3] Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains: [4] Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him. [5] And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones. [6] But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him, [7] And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not. [8] For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. [9] And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. [10] And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country. [11] Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding. [12] And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them. [13] And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea. [14] And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done. [15] And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid. Courtney spoke thanking God for giving her the family that he gave her. She so glad that she has uncles and aunts that she can go to and they will give her an answer from God. Deacon Milton says that love cuts the right of way and he is so glad that God saw fit to let us sow good seeds. God works both the will and the do. He talked good to our young men that joined us (Joshua and Deonte) telling them as a man you have to be the strong man that God has established them to be. Elder Brown song hymn # 400 (Ye believe in God, believe also in me). Deacon James spoke and said that the enemy cant get in the straight and narrow path that God has put you on. He goes on to say that if God has had his hands in your heart, then do what God has told you to do. Every seed that you sow you will surely have to reap. It pays us to sow good seeds so that we can reap good seeds. Always think before you speak because life and death is in the power of the tongue. Elder Brown closed by singing Dont Put of Today for Tomorrow. Benediction by Elder Brown...
