Family-run Castle Oliver in Limerick have denied all claims that Kimye left them with a €15,000 bill. It was reported that the newlywed couple left the complex after three hours because of the “poor phone reception” - hence Kim’s lack of Instagram posts - and refused to pay their hefty bill. A spokesperson from the castle has denied these rumors and told the Irish Mirror: They 100% paid their bill and I have no idea where this is coming from. It was also reported that the pair deemed the castle as “too big” and the stars had pre-ordered specific items including food, champagne, flowers, special bathrobes and candelabras for their brief time in the hotel, which was said to have cost nearly €10,000 before they even checked in. Kim was said to have originally paid the bill with her black American Express credit card, but was able to cancel the payment and have the money refunded to her card. The reports came after Kimye were said to have been extremely generous during their stay here - even tipping their Ballyhoura biking adventure guide €1,000. The couple tied the knot in Florence in May before their five day honeymoon in Ireland where they stayed in Cork, Limerick and Ballyfin House in Co Laois. They managed to avoid the paparazzi and despite their high profile, only a few lucky fans managed to snap a few photos of them emerging from a cinema in Portlaoise. The reality TV star was also reported to have hated her time here, a rumor she was quick to squash by tweeting how calm and relaxing it was in Ireland and that she had the ‘most relaxing, romantic honeymoon.
