Fan ?: I had my 6 week checkup and first prenatal appointment yesterday. When I got there, they wanted me to fill out a form to agree to pay for the delivery and the amount based on my insurance after the baby is born. I wasnt planning on telling them that I was planning an unassisted birth. Because I didnt want to sit and argue with them over our decision. This is our 4th baby and the last two births were 2 and 3 hours long, all births without any meds. So I really believe that my body can do a homebirth. The lady at the ob said that next week when I go in, I will need to talk with the doctor and he wont be approving of my plan. What can I do to prepare myself for this visit?
