Fan Q: Something interesting that caught my eye: in several of the works of breastfeeding art you are posting, mothers are doing the two finger cigarette hold when holding their breast, and I was taught as a nurse to specifically discourage holding the breast that way and encourage the c hold with the entire hand. But I noticed many moms automatically do that, and it seems from these paintings its not an abnormal way to hold the breast! I wonder, is there actually a good reason to avoid holding the breast this way???
