Fan Question: Have any of the moms (or dads) here had to take a step back in their career to accommodate for a child with ASD and/or SPD? I am finally making some advancement in my career but it comes at the same time that we are finally getting a diagnosis and therapy for our child. The therapy sessions would likely be at time(s) I would be working if I were to accept a new position at work, so I would be unable to attend. On the other hand if I pass up the position now it may be several years before it comes up again, and the raise would alleviate a lot of the financial stress we have.
