Fan Share: So im a server at a really popular buffet. Now i know everyones first instinct to say is but...its a buffet we get the food ourselves and you would be correct. But DONT say im not a server, you know ubless you want all your dirty plates you accumulated in five minutes to just sit on your table, if youd like to sweep the floors after a party of 40 people decide theyd like their food better on the floor, and especially if youd like to be the one to carry hundreds of plates cups and silberware back and fourth all day long. I honestly cannot stand how people put down my job, yea its not full service but im also running around constantly picking up.plates...and a family of four can EASILY go through 15-20 plates, if not more, so im constantly on the go. Dont whine about what you dont know. And remember, crappy customers get crappy service. Aint no one gunna be happy when you say fetch me more cucumbers servant (yes i have had someone speak to me thst way when i was working in a full service resturant) ~posted by Mary
