FanQ Can you please post.... Hey all, I dont know if its a question or vent or confession. Im 26 weeks pregnant with my second baby. I had my first baby girl at 22 yrs (Im now 26yrs) so its been 4yrs ago I gave birth. Im scared as my first was a prem baby ( born at 34 weeks so 6 weeks prem) she weighed 1,640kgs (3.6lb) and was 54cm long (21.2in). I was only 4cms dilated and they had to cut me to get the other 6cms. The thing is my labour with my first was not sore, I had a quick birth with her (took 15mins to get her out) the cut hurt more than her birth. Now Im worried as my gynae (OB) will be doing a cervix check my next appointment to see if Im thinning out, so I will be going on weekly injections If it is ( to prevent pre labour again) which that part is fine. Im scared because if my baby keeps growing the way she is then Ill have a baby that weighs starting from 3.5ks - 4.2kgs (7.7lb - 9.2lb) full term. So Im so scared. I know I shouldnt be. But as this second pregnancy is totally different to my first, I feel that I dont know if I will be able to cope with the labour when time comes. Is this normal to feel this way. rp--becca--
