Fans asked what I did for my weightloss; heres what I did :) Tisha Smaller plates- not the mini tea cup size ones, the middle ones. I used smaller portions, but on smaller plates it looks more food; and my eyes are more hungry than my tummy. Drinking water- I drink 10 glasses of water a day, some is "detox water" (recipe to follow) otherwise, cold ice water. I also drink 8 oz before each meal, it makes me eat less. Rounded meals- I eat 3 smaller portioned meals, make them balanced. Fiber- I have included whole wheat pastas and breads, oats, etc with high fiber in my diet (List in another post).. Which also helped with the IBS- which helps alot with digestion and getting rid of the extras. NO POP! I cut that out alone, lost 35 lbs. Its hard, do it slow if you drink alot. Caffeine headaches went away because I drink suntea, which has caffeine but not the overwhelming amount of sugar. Use of sugar in tea is much better than the refined sugars in pops and juices. This combined with the water is huge. I still have a soda here and there, but limit myself. No prepackaged meals. This includes the banquet meals, anything from a box (hamburger helper etc)- the sodium levels in them are horrid, the calories are excessive and you can almost make cheaper from scratch, with control of the salts and sugars. IF IT DONT COME IN THE HOUSE, I CANT STUFF IT IN MY FACE! This is simple, If I dont buy it, I cant eat it. I make menus and include snacks, only get on my list. NO junk food. Snack healthy- almonds, raw nuts, fruits, veggies, I love snacking on raw pepper strips, which is also good for your immune system. Making trail mix (recipe in another post) and I put into baggies and take with me. Make wiser choices regarding snacks! Exercise- 60 minutes, every day. NO excuses. EVERYONE can walk. Walk, walk, walk. No need for a gym. Squats, crunches, sit ups, leg lifts, are all on my "at home" routine. *Weigh yourself ONCE a week, no more. Always use the same scale in the same location, and wear similar clothes (or naked) and do so not freshly showered (body traps moisture) or after workouts, the sweat. Evening before bed or dinner is best. :) I dont do "diets" or "Miracle pills" and I tried those wraps....... yeah. TWO THUMB DIET! Use those 2 thumbs and push away from the table :) the old fashioned way :)
