Fantastic Tails of Finnley.... My little guy is really amusing.. of course Im easily amused. He has a real thing for the bathtub and the water. I am going to get him a couple of little bright red boats that I can wind up and Im sure hell be delighted. On the side of my bathtub I have a pretty small dish with a wine decanter on it, and then two crystal candle holders with candles. Sounds romantic doesnt it? I noticed they looked pretty dusty so off they went to the dishwasher. I get all comfortable on top of my bed watching TV and I know the boy is right behind me on his pillows. I had to twist my head to see him and then I was hysterical laughing. There was Finnley all stretched out on his back with his head propped on the pillow. His little head had dropped and his eyes were closed. He had his fuzzy baby ankles crossed and his paws were folded across his tummy! If you could have seen us BOTH you would have known that he was laying EXACTLY like I was. I know hes brilliant but I dont think he knew he was mimicking me but he was. I have NEVER seen a cat cross their ankles and fold their paws like this. Oh, if someone had only been there to take our pictures. It was a UTube moment. Then comes this morning and I wake up to this God awful thumping and I have no idea what it is or where its coming from. I staggered out of bed and turned on the light. There was Finnley in the tub with the candles. He was rolling them up the side of the tub and they were thumping down and back to him. He was bowling in my bathtub. He had the look of delight. Again, I just started to laugh and left him there. It was getting closer to 6:30 when the alarm would go off. When it gave off its nasty beeping sound again I staggered out but this time I was after Finn. I am now teaching him to turn off the alarm. I swooped him up and we trotted over to the obnoxious alarm clock. There I was with his white mitten paw telling him HIT IT HIT IT. I took his paw and he was able (with my help) stop the alarm. I gave him a big hug and a lot of praise. Tomorrow is another day and well do it again HIT IT HIT IT until he does this so well Ill never have to move when the alarm goes off. The trick then is going to be to have him pick out my clothes and iron them and push me out the door:) =^..^=
