Farsley reserves played a very strong wetherby team with five first team players including the gk yesterday with also a ref who didnt seem to understand the offside rule . Despite losing 4 nill [3 offside goals and an own goal] we didnt seem to wake up till the second half in fact we only conceeded a most unbelievable off side goal so far in fact i didnt think to raise the flag at all !!! I greatly improved second half performance, my only concerns would be the lack of effort in the first half and lack of goal scoring opportunities . The defense during the game played a really good line [wasted time ref did not understand] and despite the scoreline were rock solid !! Man of the match went to Jade Elsworth with Beth Heap running a close second .Ps Paige Farmer scored a lovely goal but no celebration !
