Fast & Furious movies are playing a lot lately, and Ive noticed that Vin Diesels mask is slipping, I believe inside he is really Riddick and that all of his film characters are beige facsimiles of a Riddick just trying to break out. Ive also taken note of his indestructible and impenetrable cool. Certain actors (like certain people) assume an adamantine and distorted masculinism, so that in their films they are never defeated and rarely toppled. Steven Segal has it. Its a shame we cant see what theyre really capable of as actors, since they hardly explore the varying dimensions to their being. Instead they are 1 dimensional tough guys who are often twice as strong as the henchmen they kill and scoff at bullet wounds. Vin Diesel has got to be the next Expendable.
