Fate of poor Asad Ali an Oversees Pakistani from Mardan who was robbed on way from Islamabad Airport to Mardan: Asad Ali a poor labourer from District Mardan was coming from Saudi Arabia after five years. due to security reasons flights to and from Peshawar are suspended therefore he landed at Islamabad Airport and received by his uncle and was taking him by taxi to Mardan. At chaklala roundabout he was intercepted by robbers in garb of customs officers and was deprived of ten thousand Riyals, the hard money he earned in Saudi Arabia. when they got intention of robbers they tried to catch them but they run away in Honda Car (black) but left their Mobile set there on ground. Asad Ali went to Police Station Civil Line Rawalpindi to lodge FIR. Mr. Arshad Malik SHO of Civil Line PS, got the robbers mobile set from Asad ali and told them that when the robbers are traced FIR will be registered by name against them. they went to Mardan with grief. after 8 days they contacted me through my nephew and asked for help. I requested SHO to register FIR. He registered FIR totally different from the application Mr. Asad Ali had given to DIG Mardan, OPF PM complaint cell and SHO. Mr. Arshad Malik lodged the FIR with the false statement of Asad Ali as under: I along with Mr. ------ was going from Islamabad to my hometown that a black car intercepted our car near chaklala and robbed us. During robbery we snatched one mobile set from robbers and went to Mardan, there we traced Mr. -------- on our own from the mobile set and now we register FIR against him and his colleagues etc: It can be seen that the event of coming from saudi arabia (airport) has been intentionally ignored in FIR and also taking mobile set in custody of police. what it shows. this is the way we are treating our Oversees Pakistanis when they come to their home. can any one take action in this case.
