Father God, I come before you today and ask in the name of Jesus that you will wrap your loving arms around each and every person that is reading this Wednesday Word. I ask you to prepare the way for all the children either starting school today, like my Aaron, a freshman in college and my Addy an eighth grader, those who have already started like Brianna and Curt or will start soon like Bailey, Bradley, Andrew, Carley, Moriah, Laura, Nick, Ben, Lexa, and all the kindergartners, first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and especially those seniors . Please give them the peace that passes all understanding if they are unsure or fretful. I pray that you will keep their feet firmly planted on the truth of Your word. I ask you to keep their hearts sensitive to your spirit, to Your voice. I ask You to help them to embrace their uniqueness and the uniqueness of each child they share classes with. You created each child with a plan and a purpose and I thank you that you are preparing them. I plead the blood of Jesus over them from the tops of their head to the soles of their feet that they will be protected and kept safe from the enemy of their soul. I pray blessings over them that they will bring you glory and honor in all they do!! I lift up each teacher as they too are imparting on a new journey, new students maybe even a new school. I ask you to give them the mind of Christ in all they do. I pray for discernment to see what each child needs and give them the wisdom and courage to provide it. May these teachers make the school and classroom a safe and caring place where the students can grow physically, intellectually and spiritually. I pray blessings over each teacher as he or she pour into their students. And now God, I lift up each parent to you!!! I pray that we will seek Your face and wisdom for every situation concerning our child(ren). I pray that You will give us the strength and courage to do what is needed for our child(ren). I pray that we will experience love so deeply that it will overflow into our homes, the hearts of our child(ren) and over into all that we do! Equip us all to be the people of God you have called us to be, the salt and light of the earth. “You are the salt of the earth….…let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16(ESV) I thank You, for Your faithfulness, Your love, Your mercy and Your grace!!!!!!!!!!! In Jesus Name, Amen
