Father in Heaven, we come humbly to worship You this morning, to praise You for the many blessings that we have received, to thank You for all that You have done for us. Father, as we open our eyes and take our first breath of this blessed day, we lift up Your name in praise. We thank You, Father, for waking us this day. We pray that You will lead us to Your will, that You will guide us onto Your path. Father, we thank You for the blessings that You have freely given to us. We thank You for our blessed families, our loving friends, our comfortable homes, and our jobs. Father, we humbly lift up praises for the sacrifices that You made to set us free. We ask that You help us to remember to put You first in our lives and that we give all the glory to You. Father, we lift up to You all those on our prayer list today, we ask that You place Your loving arms around them and heal their broken and diseased bodies. Father, we ask that You place Your Holy Spirit within those who are lost Lord, and bring them into Your service. Father, we ask that You be with those who are lost and wandering within themselves to lead them into the Light of Your love. Father, we ask that You hear the cries of those who are suffering loss today. Lift them into Your arms and carry them through this darkness. Lord, we ask that You continue to bless those who serve our country and lead them on their journey. We ask that You bring them home safely. Father, we ask that You be with our leaders, to help them trust in Your will and follow You. Father, we ask that You be with Obama as he goes through this day. Help him to come to You and listen to Your words. Help him to follow Your will for our country. Lord, we ask that our country return to Your service today and always. Father, we lift up these words in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, as You have commanded. AMEN
