Fear Fighters And Jesus came to them and touched them and said, Get up and do not be afraid. MATTHEW 17:7 Im afraid Im going to lose my job. Im afraid my marriage is not going to last. Im afraid of the medical diagnosis. I often hear these phrases from people whose thinking fuels fear and not faith. What we think about will take root in our lives. If we allow fear to take hold of our thoughts, we invite it into our lives and give it a right to become a reality. Once inside our minds, fear dominates us, blowing things out of proportion. When we give fear a foothold, it incapacitates us , paralyzing us from our purpose. It trips us, making us tentative, uncertain, and hesitant. Fear also traps us with lies. It is our responsibility to respond with confidence and say, i dont agree. Most likely, what we fear will never happen. Obstacles that look permanent are only temporary. A setback is not final. Stop fueling fear and start fueling faith, knowing that God can turn any situation around. With God on our side, we are unbeatable. Things may seem bleak and hopeless, but remain in faith, and God will heal and bring you through--better than you were before!
