Fear is an argument against what God says is true and real. If we locate fear in us, it is our responsibility (within our ability to respond accordingly) to dislodge or cast down that argument (false imagination) God asks, Why do the people imagine a vain thing? He didnt ask us this because He doesnt know the answer. He already gave us the answers! He is challenging us to look at this issue more closely, for ourselves. The answer to His Question? The reason we imagine a vain thing is because we dont deal with deception at the entrees ways of our mind. Protect the gates of the city! Has our mind become a free for all? Check myself before I wreck myself! Checkless means wreckless.
