Federal Polytechnic Ukana will commence academic activities in September 2014. It will start off at its temporary site at the premises of the Independence High School, Ukana and will move to its permanent site in due course. The Federal Government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan granted Federal Polytechnic Ukana its operational licence in June 2014. VISION STATEMENT To be a pace setter in the provision of technological innovative and value-oriented training to meeting the manpower requirements necessary for the development of our great Nation and beyond. MISSION STATEMENT: To enhance and promote the best practices in skills and technological innovations aimed at producing global icons for the world economy.
