Feedback from a recent Father of the Bride; We just wanted to write and say thank you to the team at Highfield Park for the marvellous wedding that we had on Saturday, 11 October 2014. We have received endless compliments from our guests about the loveliness of the venue. Highfield always looks beautiful when weddings are on – we have visited multiple times when they have been happening. Our guests loved the food that Chef and his brigade produced and the people with eating difficulties - coeliac etc - commented on the care and attention of the staff in making sure that they had the right food choice. It was commented on by a set of people who have had to just ‘lump’ it in other venues that Highfield had taken great care of them. We also want to thank Sarah for her help in getting us on the way – the Assiette of Chocolate was a top tip from her and our guests loved it! We have nothing but praise for Zoe who took over mid-stream and was endlessly patient and helpful. She set us on the right track from our first meeting, where she gave us lots of helpful tips – I have 4 pages of great notes that I put into action. She stayed with the event right to the end – everything was professionally documented and responded to in a timely fashion and we appreciated that Zoe took the time to call Sophie and us to wish us well; it was very kind of her. A quick thanks also to Lynn, Zoe’s manager, for her prompt actions and to Louise who got us answers to some nit picking questions over the year! The piece de resistance was the indomitable Kelly Kane. What a leader! She got everything organised and happening in a calm, professional manner. She was gracious and also necessarily firm when required! She worked like a demon to make our day happen and it is clear to us that she is respected and like any good leader, she gets down in the trenches when necessary to motivate her teams by example. There are a lot of other people at Highfield who do a great job: the Chef and his team who are working in the kitchens under great stress to produce high quality food for a lot of people in short order; the receptionist lady from Slovakia is completely charming as was the night porter who helped sort out our billing on the Sunday. There is a great team at Highfield and you all have a lot of good spirit and customer focus. Your team makes a wedding a special event and genuinely walks the extra mile to give customers a wonderful day. We are delighted to have chosen Highfield. You have played a major part in giving our daughter and her husband a wonderful start to their married life which is all that we ever wanted to achieve. If we have missed anyone’s contribution then we apologise to them – it was a team performance with major contribution from some excellent individuals. Our very Best Regards
