Feedback on Facebook Posts for Ramadan: 1) Majority suggested a Quranic Dua a Day with explanation so I will probably go with that 2) A few suggested a story of day but I wouldnt be able to do that time-wise 3) Some suggested a Hadith a day, inshaa Allah next year There were a few comments that I should deactivate my Facebook for the month of Ramadan which I seriously do not understand. So should I deprive the 9000+ people who read my posts of any beneficial posts for an entire month, which is actually the month in which we are supposed to increase in good deeds? I think the problem stems from some of us who inside believe Facebook is Haraam, so they feel guilty to use it in Ramadan. Perhaps they are projecting their own negative usage onto others and have not understood that using Facebook for Dawah, in or out of Ramadan, is an act of worship, and shouldnt be discouraged. To actually cut down on your Dawah and methods/tools of Dawah in Ramadan doesnt make any sense to me, as Shaytaan is locked up so you have even better chance of reaching out to people during this month! In the end, if someone is using Facebook for Haram then they should deactivate or change the way they use it, but if someone is using to for good then why discourage using it in Ramadan?
