Feeling a little bit emotional after finally watching this! After thousands of births on The Farm, these midwives still have the most incredible safety record and very low intervention rates - because they really understand why womens bodies behave as they do and what makes a birth go smoothly and what makes it go badly. Their philosophy is deeply moving and one of gentle respect for nature - proving that nature is not broken, that womens bodies arent broken, and that womens bodies behave quite predictably depending on whether the environment feels safe or threatening. I owe so much to the midwives on the Farm and their loving approach to women in childbirth
