Feeling a tad excited!!! I have a pattern company that is interesting in selling my doll patterns and would love to have an Aussie designer join their team. They said theyd also love it if I included some patterns for our Australian Girl Doll which most of you would probably know Belle is my No 1 doll and is the one who started me on my journey of sewing for dolls :D Heres a picture of Belle wearing the reverse side of my 1st dress pattern which Ive designed to fit both the Australian Girl doll and American Girl doll and it also fits Baby Born dolls as well. Belle is the dark haired doll. Kit is my American Girl doll and shes wearing the opposite side of the same dress. The Baby Born doll is wearing another version of the same dress pattern without the collar or sleeves. I cant say which pattern company it is yet as were currently in discussions but if I go ahead and sign a contract with them Ill be sure to let you know. Initially I had planned on selling my patterns myself but working with a bigger company has many benefits and it would actually be great to work with a team and not go things alone like I tend to do particularly since living over here in Port Hedland.
