Feeling defeated, in need of hugs. I shoveled snow for 45 minutes, breaking my back and still couldnt dislodge my car. Two men who were cleaning the snow in my condo watched me sweat while Emy cried, and did not offer to help. They just stood there. As a single mom, I try to be self-sufficient, but its hard to do everything yourself. I feel like every day I dust myself off and get right back up. Usually I am positive. But today, I cant get back up. Today I feel defeated. I had another book signing and workshop at a playgroup and I couldnt even get there, and everyone was disappointed.
