Feeling grateful enhances your well being, & by looking at a negative event within a positive framework, you increase your sense of gratitude. This exercise can also prompt you to look for the good in the midst of a bad situation in the future. In other words, if there was an upside once before, there mustt be one again. You can always get back to where you were & can always choose to push yourself above and beyond. Take some time to sit, think about a time in your life that seemed negative & unforgivable at the time, only to have a positive outcome or a lession learned later on. Whatever it was that happened to you, explore the good that came from the bad.
