Feeling moonstruck in the courtyard tonight. The light from it dances around the shadows on the page, and on my heart. Purpose has an interesting smell, like every intoxicating memory of your childhood has just flooded your mind and sent it into overdrive. Like the smell of honeysuckle and lilac, mixed with motor oil and the sweat of your fifth grade crush. You are overcome by it. Dazed and confused, you are barely able to put one foot in front of the other, but you manage. Everyday you manage. Because thats the great thing about childhood innocence. You dont know where your next step will lead you, and you cant imagine its not to the top of the world. And thats the lethal mixture - the one that leads you to the buried treasure. You must let your purpose guide your heart- it will always follow the scent of innocence. - e. k
