Feeling so blessed tonight after hearing, Doug Fields, speak at Saddleback Church. The floodgates of my heart opened, as I listened to a message that described what I have been feeling of late! Community, what does it mean to us as Christians?? As many of you know, I have been laid up for a few months recovering from surgery and trying to heal from a broken heart! Initially, I got the meals, the rides, had my house cleaned, my kittys box cleaned, and I am so grateful for the help much needed. Two loving ladies from Rancho Capistrano, came to help me and they didnt even know me. Today, I am preparing to go back to work on Monday, my hip is healed, but my heart is still broken. For months I poured my heart out to many sisters in CR, as I struggled to save my child, which I couldnt do, but God did and took him home. I will get through this because of my faith and because I know that God has never abandoned me, but I will never get over it! I can count on one hand the loving people that have kept in touch through all this. I dont need the help with meals, rides or my house any longer as I am able to do it all. But a phone call every now and than would be nice. Im still hurting and if we are to follow the principles of Jesus, let us be there for one another. What I have learned from this experience is that I will be more loving and giving. How many people walk among us with broken hearts feeling abandonment betrayal? Jesus wept for those with a broken heart! To my angels who have kept in touch long after, thank you! Doralise Ann Reis, Kathleen Applegate, Angel Smythe, Ron Ricottone, Deborah Turner Olaes, Terri Smith, and Julie Keller Kirby. Your friendship and love have kept me going! If you see me in church, please dont tap me on the shoulder and walk away. A smile is all I or anyone else may need. Thank you, Lyn Moulton, for letting me pour my heart to you tonight at church! God bless you my friends. I love you all, but I had to release is so I can move forward. We are the hands and feet of Jesus!!! I am praying for you is great, but can also be used as a cop out!
