Feeling worse tonight than I have done any other day since we lost Dad. Home alone and feeling sorry for myself. Need a stiff drink or a good talking to..or possibly both! Very worried about Mum as she was convinced that my brother was Dad today. Hoped that he would just be fading from her memory, but I suppose 54 years of being together every day cant just vanish from her mind, even with the stupid Alzheimers to contend with. Such a difficult decision not to tell her...have we done the right thing? Just not sure what we should do or could have done differently. Missing her so much and hating the thought that she is now not getting her daily visits and maltesers. Also worrying about Nick in Hong Kong on one leg...dont think much sleep heading my way tonight! :(
