Fellow Christians... this year has indeed been a challenging one. We had barely come to terms with the passing of one leader then this tragic news breaks. After weeks of relentless prayers the will of The Lord prevailed, leaving behind so many unanswered questions. Even to the point of questioning if God is really in control. And if He is why does He permit such tragic events to occur despite our many pleas? In times as this we remind our selves of the unchallengeable sovereignty of God. That His ways are indeed not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. That at the end of the day His perfect plan for us will prevail. We are also consoled by the joy of knowing such leaders have made it safely home to be with the Lord. As a result, let us not be broken or dismayed. Rather, let us be inspired to put up a good fight and run the race of life with all diligence. Knowing that our Masters call may come at an hour that we least expect. And whenever He calls us we will be ready to respond as these faithful servants have done. God bless you.
