Fellow Developers, Some of you may recall I mentioned a new crowd funding platform, specifically for games (though not just digital ones) towards the end of last year called Game Launched. Sadly they had some difficulty with their web team, but its back up and ready to go. One of the features unique to Game Launched is its Game Launched Crew. These are industry professionals who can choose to help out any of the projects currently looking for funding. There are over 120 people currently on the Crew, myself being one of them. For an overview of the other Crew members (I assure you they are of higher caliber than myself) take a look at the press page linked below. As of today I believe (could be the 10th American time actually, so tomorrow) Game Launched is open for submissions, so if youve been thinking about crowd funding your game, consider Game Launched. The Crew are available to you before you set you page to live, so you can use them for advice on that as much as the rest of development. Regardless of whether youre looking to use it for funding, please help me spread the word and consider contributing to the projects that jump on board. Id like to help make it a really open and collaborative platform for crowd funding. Not just opening communication between players and devs, but devs and the rest of the community, including press and marketers.
