Fellow cannabis advocates- PLEASE dont source cannabis oil or material to seizure patients without knowing what the hell it is. SEIZURE disorders are treated VERY differently than cancer cases and strains MATTER. Different strains have different CBD/THC amounts. With seizure disorders you MUST know and be consistent in CBD/THC dosages or risk making seizures disorders worse. Parents/caregivers of seizure patients- PLEASE do NOT use any old source and take just anything thrown your way. Using different strains or material from inconsistent/untested sources is NO different than changing AEDs. Would you put your child on any old AED without knowing the active ingredients or knowing if youll have access to that same medication again? No. Then dont do it with cannabis either. Sorry for the rant but Im sick and tired of cleaning up after people who think they are helping by giving untested/unknown plant material to parents and expecting them to figure it out. LEAVE IT TO THOSE OF US WHO KNOW BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT. Thank you.
