Fellow comrades and all protocols observed is my humble submission of this short missive to all of you as an expression of heartfelt gratitude for the time you had entrusted me with the office of faculty rep module one. I must say thanks first and foremost to God for his everlasting grace in the course of executing my responsibilities, secondly to you all fellow comrades for your continual support in this. I must confess beyond no reasonable doubt that it wasnt an easy task though, but counting achievements you will always forget failures and move on. As a way of parting sort and as a wise man I cant however lack some sentiments to share about what is the way forward everybody would wish we can embrace with both hands in tandem of the kind of leadership we look forward into. we need a generation of leaders who will lead by the power of their minds and not the depth of their pockets. we need people who will lead by the transforming capacity of their intellect and not just the fact that they are from a particular ethnic group or county. we need to have vision of a future base on what we can produce and not what can be given to us. If our development is pegged on what can be given to us then we are never going to progress beyond the permission of the givers. we must be global in our thinking. we must strive to be the best globally. As I have always said there is no advantage in being the best among the rest, in being the brightest among the fools or in being the most learned among the ignorant. Thank you all and may God bless Kenya science campus and I wish all those aspirants all the best may the best win. Bravo!!!!
