Female Arrested for a Stabbing on Fremont Street Worcester, MA (May 22, 2014) - On Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at approximately 11:20 PM, Worcester Police responded to 136 Fremont Street for a report of a stabbing. Upon the officers they met with a 23-year-old female stabbing victim. The victim was suffering from several superficial stab wounds. According to the victim, she was got into a fight with the suspect, Ms. Yesenia Davis. Ms. Davis, 21-years-old of 136 Fremont Street was on scene when police arrived. During the fight the victim was cut several times by a pair of scissors. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where she was treated and subsequently released. The Worcester Police investigative units responded to the address and conducted interviews and collected evidence. Based on information provided by the victim along with witness accounts, Ms. Davis was placed under arrest and charged with Assault and battery with a Dangerous Weapon (scissors). Ms. Davis will be arraigned today at the Worcester County District Courthouse.
