Fenc Fiji is a non profit, non government, non political and cause oriented organization founded locally to provide education to the poorest of the poor in Fiji as a means of alleviating poverty. We make the following announcements 1. Vacancy – Financial Account We are looking for a graduate with at last three years experience to be responsible for the entire books and accounts for the organization. The following requirements are necessary: a. MYOB experience b. Personal integrity c. Computer literacy d. Financial reporting capability e. Ability to network with others 2. Volunteers Required – Retired teachers – Fiji Wide In order to provide for the poorest of the poor who do not have good environment for learning, Fenc Fiji is setting up centres to offer extra classes and counseling services. Retired teachers are encouraged to assist by offering a few hours a week on a voluntary basis to help the least fortunate children. Some transport allowances may be provided. 3. Donors Expressions of interests are invited from corporate bodies, individuals, families, associations or other entities for sponsoring and donating in cash or in kind for the provision of quality education aimed at alleviating poverty in the poorest of the families in Fiji. Donations may be in professional services (e.g. auditing marketing, funding proposal writing etc), cash, special cost-meeting offers like rent payment, or other services and assistance. All cash donations up to $100,000 are 100% tax exempted. 4. Beneficiaries We have room to help a limited number of children who meet our criteria. Our assistance will be on costs other than those met by Government and will include other items to help children and to encourage parents and guardians.
