Regardless of the unclear set of facts in the Ferguson, MO shooting case; looting and attacking the members of ones own community in no way serves justice. Such actions only deepen the divide between police and non-police insofar that the average citizen is regarded as a subhuman enemy. All tyranny is predicated upon such divisions in society. For those committed to the reservations of reason and the preservation of community; when the time comes to demonstrate a physical commitment, the strength of unity may actually avoid violence unlike the wailing of a petulant discontent which will only inspire and invite violence. In other words, the weak riot for a reaction, but the strong command attention.
