Festival 2014 is on in earnest - This weekend The JCDC will host the parish finals of the Big Stage Competition to search for the top two performers from each parish for the National Finals on Sunday, July 20 at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre. Today Friday July 11 at 7pm the top two finalists from Westmoreland will be selected at Independence Park in Savannah La Mar and in St. Elizabeth at the Santa Plaza, in Santa Cruz and also for Kingston at Mandela Park, in Half Way Tree. Then on Saturday July 12 at 7pm the parish finals for St. Thomas will be held at the Paul Bogle Square, and for Manchester at the Mandeville Square in Mandeville and over in Portland at the Neville Antonio Park, Port Antonio Come Sunday July 13 the top 2 finalists will be selected in St. Catherine at Burke Road in Spanish Town and in Clarendon at The Village, Main Street, in May Pen.
