Festival Friends It is hard to believe that in only seven weeks the Popcorn Festival will be happening. If you have been by the park lately, you should have noticed that Jim Bernshausen and crew have erected a sun shade cover over the audience area in front of the stage. This will help greatly if we have a hot sunny weekend. If you have tried to open our website, you may have had some trouble. All is corrected now and I will be updating the website daily until Festival weekend so check back often We also still have events that we would like to have sponsors for. Check our website at manitopopcornfestival for more details. We are looking for a group to sponsor the Friday Night meal in the pavilion. The Popcorn Festival Committee meets on the third Monday of the month. Meetings are held at the Manito Village hall at 6:30 P.M. Our next meeting will be on July 21. The Mason County Health Department will be at this meeting to outline the Health Department requirements to operate a booth that sells food or beverage for human consumption, and will be available to answer any questions.
