Festive and educational celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the State of Israel included a special visit by Chaim Shacham, Consul General of Israel to Florida and Puerto Rico, and a presentation to students in grades five through seven. Pictured are Principal of Lower School Judaic Studies Yafa Levit, Consul General Chaim Shacham, Principal of Middle School Judaic Studies Sammy Chukran-Lontok, and Marilyn Nachman, Director of School Educational Services with the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County. Outdoor music and Israeli folk dancing took place as DKJA students, parents and teachers joined the fun and celebration.
