Fifty-nine years ago, Japan signed the Treaty of Mutual Cooperation and Security with the United State, (despite their memory from the devastating consequences of 1945 atomic bomb in Hiroshima). Today, the country is fully recovered from the war and is the third-largest economy in the world. The same the Mutual Security Act of 1951 and mutual defense assistance of 1955 that was signed between Germany and the United State (still in-effect with functional military bases in Germany), 1948 of South Korea, 1947 agreement on military assistance of Philippines, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece and many other developed and developing countries, WHY NOT AFGHANISTAN…?????
