Filling out a visa application form for a country I admire and - TopicsExpress

Filling out a visa application form for a country I admire and grew up in has proven to be an intimidating and a truly frustrating experience. Looking forward to the interview at the embassy (160$ paid, no guarantee of visa) though, hope theyll treat me better there. Pity that Polands agreement to have a defense missile complex built, or uncomfortable prisoners tortured, on its territory has not altered the US visa policy in the slightest. Poles, together with Romanians and Bulgarians, are the only Europeans who still need to go through a full-visa procedure, even when they want to go to the US for a weekend or for tourist/scientific/business purposes. #disheartened
