Film Memory Friday: Today the movie is True Romance. Now I believe the first time that I saw this was with my cousin Chip Reeves. However the best time that I saw it, and most memorable, was on a first date with a woman named Danielle Duke. On our date we had decided to go out and eat and then back to my place to watch a movie. I was going to take her to my favorite Mexican food place called El Bravo, and then we would cuddle up on the couch and watch True Romance. I had picked that movie because it has a bit of everything that explains who I am. Elvis lover, old movie lover, comic book lover, having coffee and pie after a movie, shoot outs, great dialogue, dialogue about movies, laughs, and a great romance. I wanted to let her know who I was. We cuddled and watched the movie, and it was great. She ended up loving the movie. She asked me afterwards if I enjoyed cuddling while watching the movie. I told her that I didnt like it that much and that it was second or third on a list of things I hate....tomatoes, onions, and cuddling. She said, Really? I said, No I loved it. And we lived Happily Ever After. I love you honey.
